Roman is a college freshman from Midwestern America, 1995, and boy does he look it. He wears a big baggy green tie-dye shirt, cargo shorts, sandals (when he wears shoes at all,) and a goofy karate kid style headband. His sandy hair brushes his shoulders in a straight cut and his face is a blighted moonscape of acne scars. His skin is light brown, his eyes are also brown, and his nose down turned slightly. He wears simple square-frame glasses. After much trial and error a tiny goatee decorates his chin. He looks like a granola boy okay. In build, Roman is a teeny tiny thing. A boy who's just broken into his twenties, he's only five feet all and thin-boned and skinny. He's a little noodle boy. He is a living projectile, pick him up and throw him. Roman talks with a Midwestern accent that is tented ever so slightly with Canadian and has a hard consonant stutter due to a motorcycle wreck he was in at age 11. Because of this, he tends to word his sentences a little oddly in new company to avoid words he could potentially have trouble with. If he is comfortable around you, he will blurt out any and everything that enters his mind. |
Roman is a kind of lesser demon known as The Unlucky, not that he knows what he's called. He's essentially every deal-making demon you've seen on TV, only he used to be A Real Boy once and got tricked into the job. Once he gained his hooves and horns, the Unlucky who changed him felt sorry for him, allowing him to exit his contract should he go to his parents and confess something he's been hiding from them. And then he stole any and all memory of Roman's parents. Because that's just how demons do. With his human disguise dropped, Roman honestly doesn't look too different than how he did originally. A pair of expressive goat ears poke out from his hair, complimented by a pair of curling, slightly serrated horns. All his non-magically-generated shirts are ruined thanks to the undersized three-fingered wings that rest on his back. He loses a few inches of height in this form thanks to the way his shaggy goat legs are jointed but they allow him to climb things even better. His tail is long and flexible and strong enough to allow him to dangle from above and pester people. The scales that cover his tail are soft and smooth. The tip is split and lined with poison spines. |
